She is a temporary laborer. She earns around 4000.00 Rs (40$) a month. Cleaning the gardens or homes, working at vegetable gardens or working at market is her general job activities. But none of them are permanent. Her income is very limited and non reliable. |

He is missing since last Tsunami. So far not found or no news heard about him. It is considered that he has lost his life by the tsunami. Before he was a fisherman on that day, he was mending fishing nets on the beach.

She has three children, two sons, a daughter(Naweena) and Grand Mother.

- Her elder son Waruna Asanka is studying at grade 06 at Tangalle Rahula School. He is 12 years old. He is good at playing. He also is used to help mother with her work at home.
- Naweena Nirmani is a youngest in this family. She is 04 years old. She is the one who attends our Pre School at TCR. She is good at singing song and painting. Very loving girl. She also has a health difficulty and it has described below.
- Pubudu Asanka is a second in this family. He is 07 years old. He is studying grade 02 at Tangalle Deepankara primary school. He is is having difficulty at his school and it has described below.
- Her Mother on left is too old and she looks after the children while she is out at work.

Home status: |
The home they were living was the family home. The tsunami washed away their home. Then they were given a new house of two rooms. But there are also her sister and her family also living in this small house. She also expecting baby and then there will be the space more limited. Soon Sujeewa has to find a separate place for her. Her sister does not prefer to have Sujeewas children at home, when she gets her new baby. |
Other details: |
Sujeewa’s mother is living with them too. She also has to look after her mother. Both Mother and Sujeewa are suffering from Asthma. Mother is suffering lot and she needs medicine regularly. But Sujeewa takes medicine only when she seriously needed. |

Her second son Pubudu is having a critical heart trouble.

A vain has become thin and the pounding rate has risen. The Doctors have instructed to keep the child in rest and to produce to a specialist doctor in two years time for an Eco test to see the seriousness of the condition and to decide whether an operation is needed. This boy also suffers of losing memory or difficulty of understanding the instructions given to him. He is abnormal and there has nothing done so far for this situation. His mother has to be behind him at his school work all the times. TCR is trying to follow up this case for further investigations |
Also her daughter Naweenaplay Here has a hole in the heart.

Once in a time she gets pain in her chest. But it does not affect her daily life much. The doctors have prescribed her an operation in two Years. She goes to the hospital and checks her chest once a month or so.

What this family needs now: |
Since the family lost their father, mother and grandmother alone cannot support the family by them self. Mainly the serious deceases that both children are suffering is a huge difficulty for Mother, physically and mentally. So it is very crucial that this family needs financial helps to overcome those difficulties to assure the future of the children.
