(Tangalle Children Relay) What is Student Sponsorship?
Student sponsorship is a way of raising long term support for Student whilst providing a rich and rewarding experience to donors.
Student sponsorship establishes a relationship between a donor and a Student in a way that personalizes the challenges of community development while allowing donors to see how their money is making a difference to the life of an individual child, family and their community.
Sponsorship helps provide necessities such as access to education, health care, immunization, electricity and clean water.
What happens when you sponsor a child
when you sponsor a child, you agree to make a regular contribution each month, which is fully tax deductible. You'll receive a photograph and details about your sponsored child. You'll also receive a quarterly update to let you know how your child is progressing.
Sponsorship can also be the start of a really special relationship between you and your sponsored child. You can write to your child and if they don't understand English, Tangalle Children Relay staff member will translate your letter into their language. This staff member will also translate the letters your sponsored child sends you into English or German, so you can read them.
You'll also receive regular Tangalle Children Relay publications that highlight our work around Tangalle. You can also visit this web site which is regularly updated with the very latest articles about Tangalle Children Relay’s work in the field.

But once they are away from our home and studying in a university, they still need helps to continue their studies. It could be a bigger budget than at present and so our aim is to find some one who would like to sponsor one of our students in the future too. With that we can ensure that they are safe hand in the future. Generally they are in need of 60.00 $ budget at moment and once they enter the university it will rise to 100.00 $ or more. So we very honestly invite you to be a part of our family and to bare the monthly cost or a portion, for one of our students to ensure their future. Thank you.
