    Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO)
Since 2003, Grameen Foundation has aided Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO) in expanding and improving their operations, which has allowed them to reach more poor women, more efficiently. Through both technical and financial assistance, Grameen Foundation has helped the MFI open new branches, automate their lending services, and implement strong financial reporting and internal control and management systems. Today, LAPO is helping more than 200,000 poor women move out of poverty. We awarded LAPO the Grameen Foundation "2006 Excellence in Microfinance Award." LAPO used the award money as scholarship grants for 26 students from all over Nigeria.

Amhara Credit and Savings Institution (ACSI)
Grameen Foundation provides Amhara Credit and Savings Institution (ACSI) with services such as financing, development, business planning, strategic management, and management information system assistance. The MFI paves the way for Grameen Foundation to introduce the Ethopian market to innovative products such as the Growth Guarantee Program and social performance tools. With our support, ACSI has expanded to ten branches and 185 sub-branches and has reached more than 1.2 million poor women. In a 2007 Forbes Magazine listing of the top 50 microfinance institutions in the world, ASCI ranked number six. The survey also ranked ACSI second in Africa.

    Kashf Foundation
Grameen Foundation developed Kashf Foundation’s business plan and growth projections and lent technical expertise. We have supplied more than $380,000 in direct funding for loan capital to support their ongoing operations and to finance the expansion of new branches. Kashf Foundation has experienced rapid growth since its origin while maintaining good portfolio quality. Kashf Foundation has launched another rapid expansion phase. To date, they have reached half a million clients.
